Seminarian Stephen Logue, who is a certified tour guide for the “Scavi”, the excavations beneath St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican will present a power point presentation on the discoveries of the necropolis, the underground Roman Cemetery, upon which the basilica is built. This enthralling presentation will take you through the tunnels of the excavations with its many discoveries. All are invited to attend this free presentation on Tuesday, August 23 at 6:30 p.m. in St. Patrick Church, 219 S. Beaver St. York. 

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary this year falls on a Monday and will not be a Holy Day of Obligation. For the devotion of the faithful in addition to our normal Monday 5:15 pm evening Mass we will have another Mass at 7 pm.
