This weekend is Memorial Day weekend. It is more than a three day weekend or the unofficial start of summer. On Monday we remember our men and women who died in the line of duty. It is their sacrifice we honor and remember. Sunday is the Feast of Corpus Christi, the feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. As we approach Holy Communion may we offer our reception of the Most Holy Eucharist in remembrance of our military men and women, and first responders who died in the line of duty in appreciation for their service and sacrifice. On Monday I invite everyone to attend the 9 am Mass to once again honor those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. May we never forget the true meaning of this weekend. Sincerely in Christ, Fr. C.
During this month of our Blessed Mother, turn to Our Lady to have her remove the Knots in our lives. Learn more about her Painting and Novena and why this is one of Pope Francis’ favorite devotions.
